Joyce Yang to teach piano master class
Joyce Yang, the 2005 Van Cliburn Competition silver medal winning pianist, will be conducting a master class for local piano students in mid November.
Piano teachers interested in registering their students for the master class are asked to contact Michael Springer at mosmusicstudio@gmail.com or call 959-2116 before Oct. 26.
The event will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 14, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the First United Protestant Church at 1350 Waianuenue Ave. above Hilo Medical Center. Enrollment is limited due to time constraints, said Springer. This event is sponsored by the Hawaii Concert Society.
